Purchased as alternative to all linen shorts or pants. The cotton slub is not hot and is what I needed for coping with summer heat in Florida.

These pants fit tighter than the Sequoia pants, which have a looser weave, so I had to size up. They're a bit on the lighter side, which makes them breezy for summer. Having the pockets on the outside helps keep the waitband from falling down with my phone in them.

Very well made. I have three pairs of Nolan pants. The craftsmanship of these pants is genuinely outstanding. I own three pairs of Nolan pants, and I find myself wearing them every day—they're that comfortable and stylish.
The knit is light for summer! These wash well on gentle and hang to dry. I’m 5’ 6” and 124 lbs. I don’t like tight fitting clothes. The small fits me perfectly! I use vinegar in the rinse water to protect the dye.
