What clothing can I recycle?

Fill your bag with clean clothing from any brand. Please do not include damaged or stained clothing, swimwear, socks, underwear, or shoes.

How are items recycled?

Items are sorted according to their highest and best use. Wearable pieces are resold or donated, compatible textiles are aggregated for fiber-to-fiber recycling, and remaining materials may be downcycled into useful products.

How do I receive my store credit?

Shortly after purchasing a Second Chance Bag, you will receive an email containing a unique code for $20 off a future purchase of non-sale items. The code is valid for one year and cannot be combined with other offers.

Do I have to use the store credit?

No. You may choose not to use it, or donate the value to Homeboy Industries to support its work creating employment and second-chance opportunities.
