Libby Sherpa Jacket

I yearned for this jacket for tooo long and I’m so glad I finally scooped it in time for fall! So comfy, boxy and loose but not shapeless. It really adds a level of visual interest to any outfit while still being very wearable and easy to style.. It feels almost more like a heavy sweatshirt than a jacket, so good for transitional seasons or warmer climates. My one complaint is that I kind of wish it had a lining, not for warmth but to cover the seams inside. They’re pretty soft and well made so it’s not a big sensory issue, but for the price point I think the extra finishing touch would be better.

I love a furry texture but have been trying to avoid synthetic textiles so this material is a dream come true!! I would love to see more styles that utilize it, like maybe a longer Penny Lane style coat with the cotton sherpa lining and at the collar and cuffs……

I can't quite describe all the ways I love this jacket, but I'll try. It's both fluffy and fuzzy in the right combination, especially soft and just heavy enough to really keep me warm. What's even more special is that it's just a surprising style that works. I was a little worried, but I find the slightly asymmetric style really cute and fun to wear. I'm styling this with a soft but wild purple scarf, and I love it. This jacket is pure fun to look at and to wear.
