Bold Human Zip Hoodie - Black

Happy with this item. The fabric quality is the best I've ever seen — extremely heavy weight, soft yet sturdy. I've been looking for a hoodie that's ethically made AND nontoxic AND affordable for years with no luck until now, so I hope Known Supply leans into this product and creates a whole line of zip-ups.

I'm a 5'7 average weight woman who wears masculine clothes, so this unisex fit worked overall. I wish the hood wasn't so comically large and that the waist length was a few inches shorter. Less excess fabric would give it a more flattering cut for warmer weather.

This hoodie has been so enjoyable, especially in the negative degree weather that we're having in the Northeast. It's excellent. Quality and warmth has provided me with my new go-to accessory for keeping warm with just about any outfit!

I bought this for my husband to replace an old synthetic hoodie. We love that it's organic cotton, and the cut and style, which my husband is rather finicky about, gets his approval. He's probably a large in actual size but usually prefers the way an XL fits him. We got this in XL and he loves the way it hangs on his frame. We got it in black, and the dye is deep and saturated. It looks so handsome on him, whether he's sitting or standing! It's too soon to comment on potential fading, an issue I've experienced with black organic cotton pieces from other vendors. This hoodie is nice and heavy, thick and warm. Maybe not quite as much as the old one we replaced, but that's the tradeoff for buying an environmentally conscious piece like this, rather than wearing (and shedding) cheap polyester. The one thing that bothered him at first was the sticky zipper. Again, the tradeoff for a garment with a metal instead of a plastic zip. Now that he's worn it for a few weeks, the zipper is loosening up and much more manageable, and we agree that the metal zip will likely be more durable than a plastic one. Overall, we're very pleased with this hoodie and the quality has me looking at Known Supply for additional organic cotton garments for myself!

My friends and I have a running joke about how I've been looking for the world's best zipper hoodie, for over 20 years now. I found it. It's this hoodie. It's perfect. Moves with but hugs my curves, covers my arms with generous sleeve space, and solid stitching. Zipper is high quality if a little stiff to start, but it's also very obviously a high quality mechanism. Overall, I love this.

This sweatshirt is the best I’ve ever purchased. High quality fabric and zipper, perfectly sized hood, made ethically and responsibly. I use it at work and it’s tough enough to put up with the demands of a blue collar job.
