Carmen Luz Cervantes Mejia

Carmen moved to Lima at the age of 15 to work as a housemaid. After meeting her husband, she started a new job washing clothes and cleaning houses. She struggled to find consistent work and made very little income. Now at KNOWN SUPPLY she sees a bright future ahead. She wants to study fashion and eventually create a business that benefits her community.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

My dream is to study fashion and create amazing products that I can sell in the market. I hope someday that I can start a business that creates more jobs in my community.

FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MEMORY

My favorite memory is my high school dance when I was 14. All of our mothers worked really hard to buy beautiful dresses for us.
