The war in Northern Uganda affected Beatrice severely after she saw horrific acts of violence happen to members of her family and her household. The family members that survived the incident relocated to government camps where food was scarce and space was limited. As a KK Uganda beneficiary, Beatrice now supports herself and can afford to provide scholastic materials and medical care to her children.

WHAT MAKES CROCHETING ENJOYABLE

I like crocheting because it has enabled me to gain a new skill that I never had in life and I am very grateful for this.

INTERESTS & HOBBIES

During my free time, I enjoy telling stories to my children and talking with my friends.

I am very grateful for getting employed with KK Uganda because I feel that I have been brought out of the dark and into a life full of light. Because of this, I see a bright future ahead of me and my children.
