During the war, Aryemo Beatrice had to abandon her studies in order to work and support herself. This was a constant struggle as she was always on the run from the LRA. Today, Beatrice earns a consistent income through her work as a beneficiary for KK Uganda and is able to provide herself and her family with food, housing and medical care. She says the work is becoming second nature to her and she is excited to work and support herself each day.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

I hope to open my own business, buy land and build.

The most beautiful things about Uganda are the fertile land and hospitable people.
