Amono Lucy

During the war in northern Uganda, Lucy would sleep in hideouts in the bush to avoid getting abducted by the rebel army. Food was scarce and life was hard. At one point during a hideout with the rest of the family, she gave birth to her third child. After the war, she did not have any proper source of income until she joined the KK Uganda family. She is now paying for five of her children to go to school and is sure of every meal.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

I plan to save as much money as possible which will enable me buy a plot of land.

INTERESTS & HOBBIES

The most enjoyable activity is singing gospel songs and participating in church activities.
