Akello Jennifer made many attempts to escape her poverty during her life including marrying young and starting her own small business, but was unable to find a sustainable source of income and always found herself in trouble again. With the money that she now earns, Jennifer is able to provide for herself and her children and no longer must risk her life to put food on the table. She hopes to continue to grow herself and her family so that they might all be successful.

After a difficult upbringing during times of war, Jenifer cultivated the strength to keep pushing forward no matter what life throws her way. Now, she is married with five children and wants to be able to provide for them and give them an education.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

I dream to give my children the best of education since I was denied that by my parents.

INTERESTS & HOBBIES

My most enjoyable activity is farming.
