Adokorach Proscovia was raised by her sister's friend after her parents passed away, and although she attended a few years of school, eventually had to drop out when she was unable to afford tuition. Proscovia spent most of her childhood working to earn her food. Since coming to KK Uganda, Proscovia has experienced great changes in her life. She is able to support herself and eat a satisfying diet. With the money that she is saving, Proscovia hopes to open her own shop in the city.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

My future dream is to start up a business, like a shop, after saving.

WHAT MAKES CROCHETING ENJOYABLE

Crocheting has changed my life socially, spiritually because of the morning devotions, mentally because of the trainings and also physically because of my monthly earnings.
